Amazing, but true….Recap

So, our Inventory Manager at Broadway, Ron Robertson, is moving on to the great state of California from the basement and OTC Inventory shelves of D&H Drugstore. Happy Retirement to you! Today is your day. Ron has been a fixture here for 22 years and he’s excited to be moving west.

Busy Week and Thank you!

I don’t know about you, but this past week has been a whirlwind.

Last week, we joined Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School at their 1st Communion Picnic at the Cosmo Burford Shelter. We had 3 classes full of 2nd graders and their families ready to experience the new playground, get their faces painted, blow bubbles, try out the sidewalk chalk, throw frisbees, participate in a water balloon toss, and consume 100 cupcakes. It was an overall success!

Convenience – what is it worth?

Daily I think about how to save time and how to do more in my waking hours. Having children and running them from one place to another is just what we do, right? Running through a drive-thru to pick up a meal might happen for us, maybe too often. Busy schedules, busy lives, and definitely not enough hours in the day.

Reflections on the Mid Mo Health Expo

Last week was busy for us here at D&H Drugstore and we ended the week with a great event. The Mid Mo Health Expo was Saturday at the Broadway Christian Church from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and there was a great turn out. Thanks to all the staff at Hep C Alliance for coordinating and providing the vendors and attendees with this great opportunity and thanks to Gina for being such a great nurse and attending with me. Multiple free screenings, an abundance of health information, and the Show Me Safety Child ID Program were some of the main highlights.
